pt solid gold berjangka ~ Bursa Asia Menguat Terkait Komentar Dovish The Fed

Asian stocks rose, following the steepest rebound in U.S. shares since July, after Federal Reserve policy maker Lael Brainards continuing dovish tone in her approach to tighter U.S. monetary policy boosted appetite for risk assets.

The MSCI Asia Pacific Index gained 0.5 percent to 138.37 as of 9:06 a.m. in Tokyo, recouping some of Mondays biggest losses since June. The S&P 500 Index added 1.5 percent after Brainard said she sees no reason to rush to raise rates because right now there seems little need to lean against an overshoot of inflation or employment. Her views follow the Feds Eric Rosengren, who said last week that the economy could overheat if they waited too long to raise interest rates, spurring a global rout in equities.

Japans Topix index climbed 0.5 percent even as the yen gained a second day. Australias S&P/ASX 200 Index advanced 0.8 percent and New Zealands S&P/NZX 50 Index rose 0.5 percent. South Koreas Kospi index added 0.9 percent.

Brainards comments come after financial markets were jolted out of a period of relative calm on concern some central bank officials globally have began questioning the ability of loose monetary policy to ignite price growth and support economic expansion. As the last Fed official to speak before next weeks meeting, she spurred a decrease in the odds of a September rate increase to 22 percent from 32 percent a week ago.

Chinese markets are yet to open ahead of a slew of economic data from the regions biggest economy. Futures on Hong Kongs Hang Seng Index rose 0.7 percent in their most recent trading, while contracts on the FTSE China A50 Index added about 1 percent.
