Dolar AS di jalur penurunan bulanan, harapan kesepakatan Brexit angkat sterling – Pt Solid Gold Berjangka

solid gold berjangkaPt Solid Gold Berjangka Semarang ~ Dolar bergerak lebih tinggi di perdagangan Asia hari Kamis setelah data pertumbuhan ekonomi AS yang positif, namun mata uang ini berada di jalur untuk penurunan bulanan terhadap sekeranjang mata uang seiring investor dengan hati-hati mencermati kemajuan dari reformasi pajak AS.

Indeks dolar, yang mengukur greenback terhadap sekeranjang enam saingan utama, naik 0,1 persen hari ini namun turun 1,4 persen untuk bulan November.

Data pada hari Rabu menunjukkan ekonomi AS tumbuh lebih cepat dari perkiraan semula pada kuartal ketiga, mencatatkan kenaikan tercepat dalam tiga tahun, seiring peningkatan investasi bisnis pada persediaan dan peralatan mengimbangi moderasi dalam belanja konsumen.

Sterling berdiri tegak di perdagangan Asia pada hari Kamis dengan harapan bahwa Inggris dan Uni Eropa akan mencapai kesepakatan Brexit.

Pound stabil di level $ 1,3414 setelah naik ke level setinggi $ 1,3449 semalam, level tertinggi sejak 28 September dan naik 1 persen untuk bulan ini.

Euro menambahkan 0,1 persen ke level $ 1,1854, bersiap untuk mendapatkan gain 1,8 persen untuk bulan ini.

Dolar menguat 0,1 persen terhadap yen ke level 112,00, namun turun 1,5 persen untuk bulan ini, seiring investor terus memantau ketegangan di semenanjung Korea setelah peluncuran rudal terbaru Pyongyang. (sdm)

The dollar was higher in Asian trading on Thursday after upbeat U.S. economic growth data, but was on track for a monthly loss against a basket of currencies as investors warily watched progress of the U.S. tax reform legislation.

The dollar index, which gauges the greenback against a basket of six major rivals, was up 0.1 percent at but was down 1.4 percent for November.

Data on Wednesday showed the U.S. economy grew faster than initially thought in the third quarter, notching its quickest pace in three years, as increases in business investment in inventories and equipment offset a moderation in consumer spending.

Sterling stood tall in Asian trading on Thursday on hopes that Britain and the European Union will reach a Brexit accord.

The pound was steady on the day at $1.3414 after rising as high as $1.3449 overnight, its highest since Sept. 28 and up 1 percent for the month.

The euro added 0.1 percent to $1.1854, poised to gain 1.8 percent for the month.

The dollar firmed 0.1 percent against the yen to 112.00, but was down 1.5 percent for the month, as investors continued to monitor tensions on the Korean peninsula after Pyongyang’s latest missile launch.
