Pt Solid Gold Berjangka ~ Minyak mempertahankan kenaikan ke atas level $ 44 per barel sebelum rilis data pemerintah AS yang diperkirakan menunjukkan stok minyak mentah memperpanjang penurunan sehingga memangkas surplus stok global.

Futures naik 0,5 persen di New York setelah menguat 0,4 persen pada hari Senin. Stok mungkin turun sebesar 2,85 juta barel pekan lalu, survei Bloomberg menunjukkan sebelum laporan Administrasi Informasi Energi pada hari Rabu. Pakta pimpinan OPEC untuk memotong output bekerja, Menteri Energi Rusia Alexander Novakreiterated di televisi Rossiya 24 milik negara mengatakan.

Oil held gains above $44 a barrel before U.S. government data forecast to show crude stockpiles extended declines, trimming a glut.

Futures rose 0.5 percent in New York after advancing 0.4 percent on Monday. Inventories probably fell by 2.85 million barrels last week, a Bloomberg survey shows before an Energy Information Administration report Wednesday. OPEC-led pact to cut output is working, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novakreiterated on state-run Rossiya 24 television.

West Texas Intermediate for August delivery was at $44.63 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, up 23 cents, at 8:56 a.m. in Hong Kong. Total volume traded was about 70 percent below the 100-day average. The contract climbed 17 cents to $44.40 on Monday, advancing after a weekly loss.

Brent for September settlement was up 22 cents to $47.10 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. Prices rose 17 cents to $46.88 on Monday. The global benchmark crude traded at a premium of $2.29 to September WTI.
