Minyak berjangka di New York sedikit berubah setelah memposting penurunan pertama mereka dalam empat sesi pada hari Senin. Persediaan minyak mentah AS mungkin tumbuh sebanyak 3,4 juta barel pekan lalu, menurut survei Bloomberg sebelum data Administrasi Informasi Energi (EIA) Rabu besok. Saham Asia mengikuti penurunan pada saham Amerika setelah sell-off di saham teknologi.

West Texas Intermediate untuk pengiriman April, yang berakhir pada hari Selasa, naik sebanyak 14 sen menjadi $ 62,20 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange dan diperdagangkan di $ 62,20 pada pukul 9:16 pagi di Tokyo. Kontrak turun 28 sen menjadi $ 62,06 pada hari Senin. Kontrak bulai Mei yang lebih aktif naik 15 sen menjadi $ 62,28. Oil held near $63 a barrel as concerns over expanding American crude stockpiles added to risk asset skittishness following a selloff inequities around the world.

Futures in New York were little changed after posting their first drop in four sessions on Monday. U.S. crude inventories probably grew by 3.4 million barrels last week, according to a Bloomberg survey before the Energy Information Administration’s data Wednesday. Asian shares followed American stocks lower after a sell-off in technology shares.

West Texas Intermediate for April delivery, which expires on Tuesday, rose as much as 14 cents to $62.20 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange and traded at $62.20 as of 9:16 a.m. in Tokyo. The contract fell 28 cents to $62.06 on Monday. The more-active May contract climbed 15 cents to $62.28. Total volume traded was about 60 percent below the 100-day average.

Brent for May settlement gained 17 cents to $66.22 on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. The global benchmark traded at a $3.95 premium to WTI for the same month.
