Solid Gold Berjangka ~ Minyak menghentikan kenaikan di atas $ 49 per barel karena investor mempertimbangkan rebound pada produski AS terhadap penurunan stok minyak mentah dan bensin.

Minyak berjangka kehilangan 0,3 persen di New York setelah naik 0,9 persen pada Rabu kemarin. Produksi minyak pekan lalu melonjak ke level tertingginya sejak Juli 2015, menurut EIA. Persediaan minyak mentah turun 1,53 juta barel, sekitar setengah dari perkiraan analis dalam survei Bloomberg, sementara pasokan bahan bakar motor turun untuk minggu ketujuh.

West Texas Intermediate untuk pengiriman September berada di $ 49,45 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange, turun 14 sen, pukul 11:42 pagi di Hong Kong. Total volume yang diperdagangkan sekitar 51 persen di bawah rata-rata 100 harinya. Kontrak tersebut menambah 43 sen menjadi $ 49,59 pada hari Rabu.

Brent untuk pengiriman Oktober turun 17 sen atau 0,3 persen menjadi $ 52,19 per barel di London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. Harga naik 58 sen atau 1,1 persen menjadi $ 52,36 pada hari Rabu. Oil halted gains above $49 a barrel as investors weigh a rebound in U.S. output against declining crude and gasoline stockpiles.

Futures lost 0.3 percent in New York after rising 0.9 percent Wednesday. Oil production last week expanded to the highest level since July 2015, according to the Energy Information Administration. Crude inventories dropped by 1.53 million barrels, about half the amount analysts had forecast in a Bloomberg survey, while motor fuel supplies fell for a seventh week.

West Texas Intermediate for September delivery was at $49.45 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, down 14 cents, at 11:42 a.m. in Hong Kong. Total volume traded was about 51 percent below the 100-day average. The contract added 43 cents to $49.59 on Wednesday.

Brent for October settlement lost 17 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $52.19 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. Prices rose 58 cents, or 1.1 percent, to $52.36 on Wednesday. The global benchmark crude traded at apremium of $2.61 to October-delivery WTI.
