Minyak berjangka naik sebanyak 2,4 persen di New York setelah merosot hampir 11 persen tujuh sesi sebelumnya. persediaan AS turun 531.000 barel pekan lalu, industri yang di danai American Petroleum Institute mengatakand alam sebuah laporan. Data pemerintah Rabu ini diperkirakan akan menunjukkan stok naik untuk minggu ke-10. Produksi Arab Saudi naik kembali di atas 10 juta barel per hari pada bulan Februari, menurut laporan OPEC pada Selasa kemarin.

West Texas Intermediate untuk pengiriman April naik sebanyak $ 1,15 sampai $ 48,87 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange dan berada di $ 48,34 pada 08:18 pagi di Hong Kong. Total volume perdagangan sekitar 61 persen di atas rata-rata 100-harinya. Kontrak kehilangan 68 sen menjadi $ 47,72 pada hari Selasa, penutupan terendah sejak 29 November

Oil rebounded above $48 a barrel as a reported decline in U.S. crude stockpiles countered a boost in output from Saudi Arabia.

Futures rose as much as 2.4 percent in New York after slumping almost 11 percent the previous seven sessions. U.S. inventories fell by 531,000 barrels last week, the industry-funded American Petroleum Institute was said to report. Government data Wednesday is forecast to show stockpiles gained for a 10th week. Saudi Arabia�s production climbed back above 10 million barrels a day in February, according to an OPEC report on Tuesday.

West Texas Intermediate for April delivery gained as much as $1.15 to $48.87 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange and was at $48.34 at 8:18 a.m. in Hong Kong. Total volume traded was about 61 percent above the 100-day average. The contract lost 68 cents to $47.72 on Tuesday, the lowest close since Nov. 29.

Brent for May settlement rose as much as 68 cents, or 1.3 percent, to $51.60 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. Prices lost 0.8 percent to $50.92 on Tuesday. The global benchmark crude traded at a premium of $2.50 to May WTI.
