minyak8Solid Gold ~ Minyak memperpanjang kenaikan ke posisi $ 46 per barel seiring data industri AS diperkirakan menunjukkan stok minyak mentah dan bensin turun sehingga mengurangi kelebihan stok.

Futures menguat sebanyak 2 persen di New York setelah naik 1,8 persen dalam dua sesi sebelumnya. Stok minyak mentah turun sebesar 8,13 juta barel pekan lalu, laporan American Petroleum Institute melaporkan. Apabila penurunan tersebut direplikasi dalam data pemerintah hari ini maka itu akan menjadi penurunan terbesar sejak September. Stok bensin menyusut 801.000 barel, kata API.

West Texas Intermediate untuk pengiriman Agustus bertambah 91 sen ke level $ 45,95 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange, dan berada di level $ 45,83 pada pukul 7:45 pagi waktu London. Total volume yang diperdagangkan yakni sekitar 9 persen di atas rata-rata 100 hari. Harga bertambah 64 sen ke level $ 45,04 pada hari Selasa.

Brent untuk penyelesaian September naik 85 sen atau 1,8 persen ke level $ 48,37 per barel di ICE Futures Europe exchange yang berbasis di London. Harga menguat 64 sen ke level $ 47,52 pada hari Selasa. Minyak acuan global ini diperdagangkan pada premium $ 2,23 untuk WTI September. (sdm)

Oil extended gains toward $46 a barrel as U.S. industry data showed crude and gasoline stockpiles declined, easing a glut.

Futures advanced as much as 2 percent in New York after rising 1.8 percent in the previous two sessions. Crude inventories fell by 8.13 million barrels last week, the American Petroleum Institute was said to report. If the decline is replicated in government data Wednesday, it will be the biggest decrease since September. Gasoline supplies shrank by 801,000 barrels, the API said.

West Texas Intermediate for August delivery added as much as 91 cents to $45.95 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, and was at $45.83 at 7:45 a.m. in London. Total volume traded was about 9 percent above the 100-day average. Prices increased 64 cents to $45.04 on Tuesday.

Brent for September settlement climbed as much as 85 cents, or 1.8 percent, to $48.37 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. Prices rose 64 cents to $47.52 on Tuesday. The global benchmark traded at a premium of $2.23 to September WTI.
