Solid Gold  ~ Minyak Mentah Berjangka AS WTI diperdagangkan turun 0,4% menjadi $ 58,59. Pekan lalu, benchmark A.S. AS naik 4,3%, kenaikan mingguan terbaik dalam sekitar sebulan.

Oil prices fell on Monday in Asia after recording their best weekly gains in a month last week.

U.S. Crude Oil WTI Futures traded 0.4% down to $58.59. Last week, the U.S. benchmark climbed 4.3%, its best weekly gain in about a month. International Brent Oil Futures were down 0.2% to $67.00 on Monday after recording a gain of approximately 2.1% last week.

Saudi Arabia’s energy minister Khalid A. Al-Falih said on Sunday that he was optimistic about continued commitment to the oil supply cut agreement between OPEC and non-OPEC members.

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) reported that U.S. crude supplies unexpectedly fell by 3.9 million barrels for the week ended March 8. The EIA also reported that total domestic crude production inched down from record territory, down 100,000 barrels to 12 million barrels a day.

The euro hit a two-week high against the dollar in early trading in Europe Monday, as the greenback continues to suffer from weak economic data out of the U.S. on Friday that strengthened expectations for a Federal Reserve interest rate cut later this year.

At 03:55 AM ET (07:55 GMT), the euro was at $1.1349, just off a two-week high posted earlier. The British pound was holding on to most of last week’s gains at $1.3285, as Prime Minister Theresa May prepares to push her EU Withdrawal Bill through parliament for the third time by trying to win over the Northern Irish Democratic Unionist Party.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against a basket of six major currencies, fell below 96.00 for the first time this month to stand at 95.88.
