Minyak berjangka naik sebanyak 1,1 persen di New York setelah pada hari Selasa menguat 3,3 persen karena menguatnya ekuitas dan industri logam sementara investor menunggu perkembangan terkait rencana Inggris untuk keluar dari Uni Eropa. Cadangan minyak AS turun 3,86 juta barel pekan lalu, American Petroleum Institute mengatakan.

Minyakk mentah West Texas Intermediate (WTI) untuk pengiriman Agustus naik sebanyak 53 sen menjadi $ 48,38 per barel di New York Mercantile Exchange dan berada di $ 48,15 pada pukul 08:23 pagi Hong Kong. Kontrak tersebut naik $ 1,52 ke $ 47,85 pada hari Selasa setelah turun 7,5 persen pada dua sesi sebelumnya. Total volume perdagangan sekitar 45 persen di bawah rata-rata 100-hari.

Minyak Brent untuk pengiriman Agustus naik sebanyak 37 sen, atau 0,8 persen, ke $ 48,95 per barel di ICE Futures Europe exchange. Minyak mentah acuan global diperdagangkan lebih besar 61 sen dari WTI.(Solid Gold)

Oil extended gains above $48 a barrel as U.S. industry data showed crude stockpiles declined and after markets rebounded from the rout triggered by the U.K.�s vote to leave the European Union.

Futures rose as much as 1.1 percent in New York after climbing 3.3 percent on Tuesday as equities and industrial metals gained while investors await developments on the U.K.�s plan to exit the EU. Inventories dropped by 3.86 million barrels last week, the American Petroleum Institute was said to report. Government data Wednesday is forecast to show supplies slid for a sixth week.

West Texas Intermediate for August delivery climbed as much as 53 cents to $48.38 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange and was at $48.15 at 8:23 a.m. Hong Kong time. The contract gained $1.52 to $47.85 on Tuesday after falling 7.5 percent the previous two sessions. Total volume traded was about 45 percent below the 100-day average.

Brent for August settlement rose as much as 37 cents, or 0.8 percent, to $48.95 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange. The global benchmark crude traded at a premium of 61 cents to WTI.
